Sapphire burnishing tool

This tool outperforms any stone for fine burnishing of soft or hard materials such small pivots, shafts, and pins made of hard steel, carbide, and even ceramic.

This finely honed sapphire blade is 1.5 mm x 2.3 mm and is 14 mm long (0.06 x 0.09 x.56"). It is fixed in a hexagonal gold anodized aluminium handle. The overall length is 120 mm (4.75 in).
